You’ll experience this adventure with legendary Lada Niva 4x4
or Land Rover Defender by driving yourself or by joining us in a
Toyota Land Cruiser . The 4x4 jeeps take you to the places
where the asphalt ends and the stories begin.

The comfort of staying with Belgian guides, who offer a unique bridge between local Bulgarian culture and
European hospitality will guide you through this unique experience.

Here is an atmospheric preview of your week in East
Bulgaria:

Days 1-3

The Balkan Heart & ancient pearls
Pick up at airport Burgas or Varna and check in at B&B in North
Bulgaria.
Start your journey in the interior, where time seems to stand still in
charming rural villages.

Staying with Belgians: Enjoy the warmth of an authentic
B&B with swimming pool for 3 nights, where Flemish
hospitality meets the serene Bulgarian countryside.

The Danube: Take a trip to the banks of the Danube and
discover in Ruse its stunning Neoclassical and Baroque
architecture.

Local Charm, culture & history:
the Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo (UNESCO World Heritage) , the rock
monastery of Basarbovo, the medieval town/fortress of
Cherven, "Orlova Chuka" cave, lots of rock churches .

Rusenski Lom Nature Park :
The park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its largest
population of golden orioles in Europe, with more than 200
breeding pairs each year. The canyon cliffs are ideal
habitats for owls and eagles. The wetlands provide a
perfect habitat for the waterfowl. There is minimal human
presence, only farmers and small villages.

Day 4

Veliko Tarnovo & Shipka pass

Veliko Tarnovo:
Visit the "City of the Tsars" and old capital of Bulgaria.
Wander through the imposing Tsarevets Fortress and explore the
artisan workshops of Samovodska Charshia.
Visit the museum-village of Arbanasi, famous for
its unique stone-fortress houses and richly decorated churches.

Days 5-7

The Black Sea with ancient towns & Strandja N.P.

Time to breathe in the salty sea air and enjoy the vibes
of the Bulgarian Riviera.

Stay in a holiday house from Belgian owners with‌ ‌swimming pool at the foot of the Strandja mountain‌ ‌and with view on the black sea.

Sozopol:‌ ‌ One of the oldest towns on the coast. Its wooden‌ ‌houses and cobblestone alleys exude pure romance.

Boat Trip:
take the fast ferry from Sozopol to Nessebar (a UNESCO World Heritage site),
a short cut in the bay where Burgas is located . Situated on
a narrow peninsula, the town is a labyrinth of Byzantine churches and
charming seaside terraces.

OR

Pristine Nature: Head into the Strandja Mountains for untouched forests
or visit the Ropotamo or Velika River for a boat safari to spot turtles and
rare birds.
• Visit Rezovo is a serene, picturesque village that serves as the
southeasternmost point of Bulgaria and the continental European Union.
Located in the Strandzha Nature Park, with a view on Turkey
